Greg Bell, Founder and Managing Member of Ruby Graphite Holdings LLC, has worked in the natural resources sector for more than 30 years. As a Professional Engineer, Greg recognized the Ruby Graphite project as an attractive new venture for sourcing flake and vein graphite as a domestic supply in the U.S. He has successfully built and managed several startup operations in various capacities as project engineer, project manager, chief technology officer or president.
Greg pivoted to the energy minerals sector from a successful career as a recognized expert in the extraction of natural gas from unconventional resources, especially coalbed methane. He consulted to oil and gas and coal mining companies with projects in the U.S., Canada, China, Australia and other countries through Coal Gas Technology Company, an engineering, geology and analytical services group he founded 29 years ago. Greg expanded the services to Canada during the coalbed methane boom from 2000 through 2008 and he was cofounder of a junior oil and gas company listed on the TSX-V.
He has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Universities of Colorado and Wyoming. Greg’s early career included engineering and management positions with ARCO Coal, Gas Research Institute and TerraTek.
